Honestly when I went from a 2006 Civic to a 2016 Scion iA (new at the time) and finally had a Bluetooth radio, it was just legendary. I have to have music when I driving and I love to skip around playlists, so being able to just push a button from my steering wheel without having to take my attention away from the road is magical. I just got one of those magnetic dash mounts too which is also great for keeping everything in sight when I using google maps/waze to go somewhere..
In 1972, Canadian rock legends Lighthouse released a similar tune, Broken Guitar Blues, about an unnamed carrier’s callous treatment of a beloved axe:However, the airlines have had it comparatively easy when it comes to provoking a songsmith’s wrath. Historically (and unsurprisingly) the recording industry is the big business that has taken the most sonic slagging. Sometimes the biz has been trashed obliquely, as in jazzman Mose Allison’s been there been burned If You Only Knew (“If you want to sing your own song/You’re gonna have to lose a few”).
It extremely tough to accept that every run won be your best run. It very similar to accepting that not every run should be run at maximum effort too. We so used to everything needing to be hard to make improvements but we don “No pain no gain” isn a good mantra for running or weight loss..
Memory. Try it at home! Or even better, at your office desk!In Living Color 1990This sketch comedy show DEFINED the early ’90s for me. Not only did it launch the careers of Jim Carrey (back when he was going by James Carrey) and Jennifer Lopez, not to mention the hordes of Wayans who ran the show, but it also brought Heavy D into my living room every week.
I think the key to success is two parts. 1, you don’t have to divulge everything to your friends that smoke (unless they are really close to you), but just politely decline whenever they offer or let them know the reason you are trying to stop. I am sure they will understand.
I’m mainly concerned about the unintended disenfranchising of competitive CrossFitters and those who thrive on a competitive mindset/atmosphere. I’m super bummed that CF isn’t as interested in the sport of fitness as much as CrossFit as some sort of homeopathic/medicinal/health program. If they can’t handle the dichotomy of health and wellness vs competitiveness, I feel a full split in CrossFit’s future.
Secondly, why focus on recruiting women when you still haven’t proven that you can treat them with respect and equality in the work place? That story was literally last week. “Hey I know how we fix our sexism problem, let’s exclude men and try and bring more women in without remedying our internal issues. This will surely help.”.
